History

The Stud Herdade da Mata arose from a passion for ancient Lusitanian horses from the owners of HM, who during his life had always contact with these noble animals.

HM The Stud is still very new in 2006, has a herd of breeding mares 6, five and a pure Lusitanian blood Sorraia, carefully selected, and are benefited every year by the renowned stallions.

HM The Stud is part of a 750ha property where all the conditions necessary for the establishment of horses.
